  • Ariadne la Noire's Cotehardie Documentation Page — Information on men's and women's cotehardies.
  • The Basics of Byzantine Dress New 08/2007 — Site with information about Byzantine dress c 1000 A.D. Lots of photos of extant clothing.
  • Basic Medieval Pattens — Contains information and research about pattens, also instructions on how to make men's and women's pattens.

  • Louise de la Mare: A Bliaut — An article about the construction, materials and decoration of 12th century bliauts.

  • Bohemian Bathhouse Keepers — (aka "The Bohemian Bathhouse Babes"). Information from the 14th century Wenceslaus Bible with pictures of the bathhouse keepers and their garments. Of particular interest is their garment with "spaghetti straps."

Many patterns for extent clothing from the time, e.g. "bog dresses," the many Herjolfsnes garments, and Charles de Blois' pourpoint.
